Luckily, I had pulled out pork chops to defrost earlier in the day so I at least had that going for me but I had no real plan after that. So looking through my spice cabinet I decided to make a Sazon rub for the chops to go on the grill.
4 medium pork Chops
1 packet Sazon (sold on Spanish aisle, I prefer Badia brand with no MSG)
Salt and pepper to taste
Pat pork chops dry of excess water then season pork with the sazon, garlic powder, and salt and pepper on both sides. (Don't use your hands or they will turn orange).
Let stand 10 minutes or more while the grill heats.
Grill chops over medium heat until the pork is cooked through, about 4 minutes each side, or until a thermometer inserted into the center reads 145°F.
Let the meat rest for 10 minutes after removing it from the grill for the juices to redistribute. Serve and Enjoy!
